Customising Your Order

Customising Your Order

The best way to give your teamwear the professional edge is to add customisation. If you are sticking to a tight budget you may want to stick with shirt numbers and maybe your club logo, then as the team grows you can then add on sponsorship names and individual player’s names to build a kit that is truly bespoke to your team.

Kit Building

When you start personalising your teamwear you will begin by supplying us with your logos to be either printed or embroidered onto the kits. Setting up the artwork to be applied to the kit will involve an initial set up cost, however this will be a one off cost. Once we have your logos the cost of printing or embroidering individual items will be on a per item basis. As we benefit from having in-house customisation facilities we can often arrange deals on bulk teamwear orders, making it easier for you to build a bespoke kit for your team on a budget. For more information on pricing, please click HERE.

You may just want to start with a match kit to get your season started, however as the team grows you could consider getting branded attire and having bespoke team training kit, leisurewear or equipment (training tees, jackets, hoodies, hats, bags etc.) for both players and supporters. Small touches like this will help to enforce the teams’ branding and ultimately create a more professional overall impression.

Creating a Team Brand

Customisation doesn’t have to stop with the kit, you can apply your team logo to many different items. For example, you can apply branding to the following items:

Trainingwear

Training T-shirts, Midlayers, Technical Tight Fit Training Pants, Shorts, Tights, Baselayers, Compression wear, Vests, Rain Jackets, Shield Shower Jackets, Shell Tops

Leisurewear

Hoodies, Crew Sweatshirts, Zip up Tops, Fleeces, Sweatpants, Polo Shirts, Cotton Tees, Presentation Jackets, Tracksuits

Equipment

Gym Bags, Trolley Bags, Hard Base Bags, Ball Carriers, Boot Bag

Accessories

iPhone Cases, Towels, Bath Robes, Mugs, Cups

Designing your Own Kit

When you are starting from scratch with your team’s kit there are several things that you will need to think about, such as:

Budget

Budget (or lack of it!) is one of the biggest stumbling blocks for grass roots teams. Investing in teamwear can often seem like an unnecessary expense, however, for many teams it proves to be an investment well spent for a number of reasons, including:

  • A professional looking kit will raise the profile of your team
  • It will raise team morale
  • It will attract new players who want to be part of a ‘proper’ team
  • It can be used to attract local sponsors by offering sponsorship space.

Colour

There are numerous different options when it comes to choosing your team’s kit. You can be influenced by the professional teams, hark back to a nostalgic colour scheme or simply just choose your favourite colour! One thing that is worth considering is the colours that other teams in your local area are wearing, ideally you want to create your own identity.

Logo

Once a team becomes established, it is important to create a logo that will translate across all areas. When designing your logo remember that it will need to adapt to being printed or embroidered on to all items of teamwear from kit and training wear to kit bags etc.

Keeping it simple, with clear lettering and uncomplicated imagery will allow your brand to be easily recognised, think long term with your design, it may even need to be applied to club stationery, a mini bus or even, the elusive sign above your stadium!
